Surfatron plasma-based sterilisation

Popis: The paper is focused on experimental investigation of surfatron plasma based sterilisation. The commercial surfatron, working at frequency 2.45 GHz, was used for plasma generation. Surfatron plasma was directly applied on tested micro-organisms inoculated on surface of culture medium (agar). Bactericidal effect of the microwave-excited Ar + O2 and Ar + N2 surfatron-based discharge, burning in open atmosphere, was assessed after application on defined bacterial cultures. The inhibition zone of bacteria coat on the surface was revealed after the plasma application and the bacteria cultivation.
