Popis:	Reduction of Pu nitrate solution to metal is accomplished in the button line portion of the Remote Mechanical Line. Several areas of deficiency exist in the facility, which must be corrected in order to maintain continuity. In December 1963, a study was undertaken to define and evaluate the operational and economic parameters pertinent to deciding to improve or replace the button line. This paper documents the study and presents the conclusions and recommendations.
