Popis: | Electron microscopy is employed to study the kinetics of bayerite microstructure formation during the hydration hardening of powdered aluminum at 373 K. It is shown that the formation of splices between Al(OH)3 crystallites is governed by the diffusion of aluminum hydroxocomplexes through growing porous bayerite layers. Adsorption and textural properties of dehydrated materials are investigated. |
