Popis: | A major problem for manufacturing companies is the effective integration of design and production. Tolerance charts provide one means of aiding this integration. Manually produced charts are time-consuming and have not been widely adopted. This paper presents an elegant graph-theoretic approach to tolerance charting suitable for use with a microcomputer. The approach has the potential to significantly reduce the amount of work required in charting, and so it can be used by small companies as well as large ones. |
