Popis: | Based on the method of Jones matrices, we consider the optical properties of a polarization ring interferometer and show the possibility of its use for studying various nonreciprocal effects. Using such an interferometer, we measure nonreciprocal magnetooptical linear birefringence in a lithium iodate crystal. |
