| Popis: | The association of several drugs with bone necrosis, whether spontaneous or not, is well documented in the literature. We present the report of a female patient, Caucasian, 75 years old, with rheumatoid arthritis, using golimumab, which, after tooth extraction, developed bone necrosis, diagnosed clinically and radiographically. Conservative therapy was instituted and complete expulsion of the fragment was observed, as well as bone repair. There are, to date, no reports of bone necrosis associated with the use of golimumab, a human monoclonal antibody that acts on tumor necrosis factor. |
