Popis: | Myringoplasty in the office was performed in 92 patients (97 ears) with the subepithelial connective tissue as the autograft attached with fibrin glue (Beryplaste P).Subepithelial mesenchym was used for the autograft. In 87.6% of the ears with perforation, operation was successful with the first myringoplasty. In 94.8% of ears the perforation could be closed by the first to the third operation. We investigated the correlation between the width or localization of the perforation and the rate of closure. The results showed that large and posterior drum perforations with exposure of the malleus were more difficult to close than other perforations. The activity of factor XII in the plasma of patients with perforation of the tympanic membrane tended to remain lower than in normal subjects (70%). |
