Popis:	High populations of the pecan leaf scorch mite (PLSM), Eotetranychus hicoriae (McGregor), developed on pecan trees sprayed with phosmet but not on trees sprayed with dialifor or a combination spray of phosmet plus carbophenothion. Comparison of trees with a history of yearly pesticide sprays with trees not sprayed for a number of years revealed major differences in relative abundance of PLSM and mites of the families Eriophyidae, Tydeidae, and Phytoseiidae.
