Popis: The problems which can often result from the presence of cockroaches, mice and rats originate not only because we do not accept these animals culturally but, above all, for the health aspects which they involve in the medical-veterinary area. Furthermore, additional inconveniences can be verified due to inadequate knowledge of the prevention and control techniques in act today, with unpleasant consequences from the toxicological, the environmental and, finally, the economic point of view. This short presentation has the aim of pointing out some basic concepts which will permit the technicians of the sector to focus on the problem and therefore be able to eventually formulate the first indications of prophylaxis and control. It is clear that in-depth study of the subject is necessary for those who would like to operate according to the scientific method of a professional.
