The mathematical model of energetic effectiveness of planetary grinding mills was verified experimentally. The measured gross power input was shown to fit the calculated data with some underestimation. The model allows to evaluate the energetic parameters of a planetary mill for any working regime of either existing machines or those being projected. Examples of calculations are presented. Choice of the main design features (kinematic and geometrical parameters) is the matter of compromise between the energy savings and the production capacity. |
