The article proves the relevance of the introduction of the discipline «Fundamentals of Production Technologies» in the educational process of training future teachers of geography, provides an analysis of scientific sources on this issue, defines the purpose of the article, research methods. The urgency of studying this discipline is due to the need for future teachers to understand the geography of technological processes of production, the location of productive forces, the impact of production technologies on natural complexes, demographic, social and environmental problems of society. The purpose of the article is to acquaint teachers of higher education institutions with the content of the discipline «Fundamentals of Production Technologies» for the training future teachers of geography. Research methods used: theoretical − analysis of pedagogical, educational, methodical and technical literature; study of scientific publications on the subject of research; systematization and generalization of information; empirical methods − the study of regulatory documentation on the organization of the educational process in higher education institutions. The content and structure of the discipline «Fundamentals of production technologies», a list of general and professional competencies, program learning outcomes, teaching and assessment methods, criteria for evaluation program learning outcomes, distribution of points for certain types of educational activities are filed up. It is determined that the study of the discipline contributes to the formation of general competencies: the ability to search, process and analyze information from different sources; ability to learn and master modern and professional knowledge, namely: the ability to understand the essence of the interconnection between the natural environment and human, to understand and explain the strategy of sustainable development of mankind in terms of the development of modern production technologies. The program learning outcomes of higher education seekers are in their ability to explain the changes that occur in the geographical environment under the influence of natural and anthropogenic factors, the formulation of consequences and determinants in the context of the concept of sustainable development of mankind. A fragment of a practical lesson, which reflects the content of the practical task and the stages of its implementation was given. It was found that the discipline «Fundamentals of Production Technologies» contributes to the holistic formation of professional competence of the future teacher of geography. |
