Popis: Electrospray Mass Spectrometry is a relatively new ionisation technique which has the advantage of allowing compounds of large molecular weight to be studied. However, it has the serious disadvantage that the spectra are complicated and difficult to analyse. The application of MaxEnt, specifically the Cambridge MEMSYS5 software, has allowed electrospray spectra to be automatically analysed to produce a single, zero charge, spectrum which also exhibits dramatic enhancements in signal to noise ratio and resolution, making interpretation much more straightforward.
