Popis:	Petrological studies based on core drillings have shown that two main factors have contributed to the gold mineralization in the district of Mongbwalu: 1) Plutonic activity of a granitic or a dioritic magma, resulting in a first concentration of the metal originally dispersed in some of the intruded Kibalian rocks. 2) Development of shear zones with important quartz mobilizations resulting in a second concentration of the metal in their zone of influence.
