Popis: UNSTRUCTURED Currently, technological tools allow for the reproduction and control of peculiar stimuli, such as the possibility of producing audio clips with the voices of deceased people. Indeed, available artificial intelligence technologies give the possibility of creating at-home vocal messages starting from a sample of an audio clip with a voice, even the one of a dead person. Recently, some videos and documentaries depicting people interacting with artificial intelligence content related to the deceased have been released to the general public. However, the possibility of interacting with realistic stimuli related to deceased loved ones can create peculiar and delicate experiences and should gain the attention of the scientific community and mental health professionals. The present work first gives an overview of the actual possibilities of recreating and being exposed to such experiences, then psychological impacts and possible interactions with digital contents related to grief are discussed. Lastly, the authors suggest future directions and point to be addressed by the scientific community for the management of the risks related to these stimuli.
