Popis: Case Study: A 15-year-old boy with osteogenesis imperfecta and traumatic simultaneous bilateral tibial tubercle avulsion fractures is presented. He suffered this injury when he was running after the bus. The patient's history, operative management, and follow-up are described. Open reduction and screw fixation were performed. The postoperative course was uneventful. At 10-month follow-up, osseous consolidation was achieved and the patient was pain-free with normal strength and an unlimited range of motion of both knees. Literature Review: In addition, a review of the literature is performed. To our knowledge, this is the first case of bilateral simultaneous tibial tubercle avulsion fracture reported in a patient with osteogenesis imperfecta.
