Popis: | The full assembly and alignment of the China Material Irradiation Facility RFQ have been completed. Before the completion, the assembly and braze of single segments had been done. Radio frequency measurements of each module with dummy extension undercuts were performed before and after braze. The results reveal that there is no unexpected deformation after braze. After the full assembly, RF measurements and tuning have been performed in order to compensate the errors originated from the fabrication, braze and assembly. The impact of these errors on the field distribution is depressed to a level that is restricted by beam dynamics simulation. In this paper, the procedure of radio frequency measurement and tuning will be expatiated and the ultimate RF parameters of the cavity after tuning will be presented. |
