Evaluation of PMSM Performance by Different Modulation Strategies

Popis: A numerical simulation has been performed to examine the performance of inset rotor PMSM in terms of dynamic response, total harmonic distortion, torque and current ripple caused by three different modulation methods namely hysteresis current control (HCC), sinusoidal pulse width modulation (SPWM) and space vector pulse width modulation (SVPWM). In order to evaluate the performance of modulations, a quantitative analysis has been performed. The results show that SVPWM outweigh the other modulations.
