Popis: | A theoretical analysis showing the evolution of the state of polarization of the light inside a bulk optic Faraday current sensor is presented. Factors affecting the performance of the device, such as the azimuth of the input state; angle of incidence on reflection and the presence of intrinsic birefringence in the material have been simulated with a computer. The results of the simulation are compared with those obtained experimentally with a triangular shaped sensor design. |
