Popis: | The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of an integrated simulation program on the critical thinking disposition, problem-solving process and job performance of nursing students. An integrated simulation program was conducted to provide education twice a week, approximately four hours each. It was offered in five stages: theoretical lectures, prior learning by team, simulation education, team simulation and debriefing. And single-group experimental design was adopted. As for data analysis, SPSS 24.0 for Windows was employed. To test the normality of the variables, Kolmognov-Smirnor's normality test was used, and t-test was carried out to produce results. As a result, the practice that applied the integrated simulation contributed to the improvement of the critical thinking disposition, problem-solving skills and job performance of the selected students, and the program was found to be an effective educational method. Therefore sustained efforts should be directed into the evaluation and reorganization of integrated simulation education to make it entrenched as an effective way to provide clinical education for nursing college students. |
