Popis: The density of liquid neodymium and additional data on the density of liquid cerium were determined by a vacuum-pycnometric method as a function of temperature. For neodymium, liquid-density measurements made from near its melting point to 1231°C exhibited a temperature dependence expressed as: ρ = [7.373 − (5.28 × 10 −4 )(° K )] ± 0.019 g/cm 3 Liquid cerium density measurements were extended to 1173°C. The combined cerium data yielded a temperature dependence which could be expressed as: ρ = [6.930 − (2.27 × 10 −4 )(° K )] ± 0.027 g/cm 3
