Popis:	We isolated and characterized a total of 22 microsatellite loci from Sphyrna tiburo. Loci were screened in 24 individuals from St. Catherine’s Island, Georgia. These new loci will provide tools for determining population changes in this species that could have direct economic and ecological impacts on lower trophic species.
