Sensitivity study for an MPI FFL scanner

Popis: Magnetic particle imaging (MPI) is a promising modality not only offering both high spatial and temporal resolution, but also quantitative information and high sensitivity [1]. In this study, the sensitivity of a field-free line (FFL) MPI scanner is examined [2]. The lower detection limit of iron in magnetite of the scanner is analysed using a serial dilution. Thereby, the linearity of the signal amplitude according to the particle concentration is shown.
