Popis: | This work aims to present results of the measurements of the density of the anhydrous ethanol fuel in the liquid phase, and the following thermal properties: thermal expansion coefficient and isothermal compressibility factor, in the temperature range of 277.15 K to 313.15 K and for pressures up to 15.0 MPa are presented. The density measurements were performed using a pycnometer that was calibrated, which presents a volume uncertainty of 0.020 cm3. Correlations were obtained for density, thermal expansion coefficient, and the isothermal compressibility factor. A system of measurement was developed capable of realizing density measurements using a pycnometer and a pressure cell with low uncertainties in different pressures and temperatures. |
