Food and nutrition planners are responsible for proposing strategies and preparing programs and projects pertaining to that field. Planners are to set, from the start, clear and defined objectives and goals to be reached, both at intermediate as well as final stages of program implementation. In accordance to the specific characteristics of nutrition problems, of target population groups, and of existing institutional, financial and human resources, planners set action priorities and allocate more funds to those interventions that are more prone to result in better and more extensive impact. |
