Popis: In 1967 Fisher [4] described a characteristic disorder of horizontal eye movements in which, due to a lesion of the medial longitudinal fasciculus (MLF) of the pontomesencephalic tegmentum and of the ipsilateral pontine gaze center, there is an ipsiverisive conjugate horizontal gaze palsy and a contraversive inhibition of adduction of the ipsilateral eye — internuclear ophthalmoplegia (INO). Fisher called this the one-and-a-half syndrome.
