Popis: The disintegration process of solids by hyper-shock waves is successfully used in medicine for urinary-cholelithiasis treatment. The present paper considers problems concerned with further process development, brought about by new applications, both in medicine and industry, which require differentiation of disintegration modes and production of new equipment. Some other problems are also considered such as the interconnection between the speed of rift appearance in the solid body and the nature of disintegration. Besides, a new concept of the mechanical skin-effect is introduced, and a comparative-qualitative analysis of hyper-shock wave generators is given, which is based on different physical phenomena. This paper deals with such problems as the connection of acoustic pulse parameters with the pressure in the focal zone and solid body disintegration in a water medium, not degassed. Different reflectors and refractors have also been considered. A new type of toroidal reflector has been described and the problem of the accuracy of reflector focusing on the object is discussed. The possibility for disintegration of biomineralogical formations in a human body without knowing their spatial location by using an intercrystallite resonance phenomenon is shown, as well as the possibility for the process of selective disintegration of oncological cells against normal cells (work now in progress).
