Popis:	Behavior management has long been recognized as a productive therapeutic technique when working with children and adult behavioral problems; yet, literature concerning its use with the older population appears quite sparse. Given that the nursing home is a long-term care environment where opportunities exist to control and modify behavior, this present study surveys 89 midwestern nursing homes in an attempt to determine if and to what extent there is behavior management use. Results indicate moderate, but ambiguous usage. Conclusions are drawn in terms of the management approach and its opportunities.
