Popis: | The gas-sensing properties of spinel NiFe 2 O 4 ferrite prepared via glycine combustion route are reported. The route utilizes divalent nickel nitrate and trivalent iron nitrate precursors in aqueous solution. Glycine acts as a fuel for combustion process and subsequent ferrite formation. The gas response of the material was investigated against a range of gases (LPG, acetone, ethanol, and ammonia) at various operating temperatures. The as prepared sensor showed good response to LPG at 350 °C with excellent selectivity and stability. |
