Popis:	Polycrystalline samples of modified lead germanate Pb4.95Ba0.05Ge3-xSixO11(x = 0.3, 0.5, 0.7, 1.00) were prepared by solid-state reaction technique. Preliminary X-ray studies show that there is no basic change in the crystal structure of Pb5Ge3O11. A dielectric anomaly was observed for all four different compositions. The rate of change of transition temperature with mole % of Si was found to be about 9.19°C.
