Popis: | This paper presents a new form of wideband beam deflection antenna structure constituted by four dielectric slabs and an antipodal Vivaldi antenna. The dielectric slabs are asymmetrical placed on both sides of the antipodal Vivaldi antenna. The dielectric slabs not only change the beam direction of the antenna, but also increase the antenna gain. Full wave simulation results show the antenna has a stable radiation pattern over a wide frequency band of 25GHz-50GHz with a title angle of 25 degree in the E-plane. In addition, compared with original structure, the proposed antenna exhibits 4.79dBi average boresight gain enhancement over 25-50GHz. |
