Popis:	Molecular relaxation processes in potassium perchlorate KClO4 are studied using Raman spectroscopy. The first-order structural phase transition in crystalline perchlorate KClO4 is shown to be temperature-extended. The presence of a pretransition region in the studied perchlorate KClO4 is reported.
