Popis:	It has long been recognized that the determination of policies for a national economy is fundamentally a feedback control system problem (1). However, the national economy is, by its very nature, a multidimensional system and the feedback control theory of the 1950 time period was generally unable to cope with this multidimensionality in a useful manner. Also, the development of dynamic macroeconomic models was not at a level for which meaningful results could be obtained.
