Study of an Electromagnet for Digital Hydraulics - Numerical Simulation and Experimental Model Testing

Popis: This paper presents the construction design and numerical simulation, using FEM of an electromagnet for digital hydraulics, which is aimed to reduce the power losses and making fast switch for on/off valves used in hydraulic circuits. The numerical simulation results present the electromagnetic forces, magnetic field and inductivity for the analyzed electromagnet. The design of this electromagnet and results from numerical simulations conduct to the realization of an experimental model. Also preliminary measurements of the electromagnet are presented in this paper.
