Popis: | A mathematical model of atmospheric freeze drying in a spouted bed is proposed. The mathematical model is formulated in terms of the mechanics of heterogeneous media and describes the hydrodynamic conditions in the apparatus, taking into account the kinetic changes in the course of the process. The mathematical description is based on the equations of conservation of mass, momentum, and energy of the gas and dispersed phases for the core and annulus of a spouted bed. The energy efficiency of the process is analyzed in terms of dynamic criteria of efficiency. The energy efficiencies of atmospheric freeze drying in a spouted bed and classical vacuum-freeze drying in a tray dryer are compared. |
