Popis: This study examines whether priming a common ingroup identity among Whites (in this case, American identity) results in improved attitudes toward Latinos. To test this, this project examines support for redistribution and racial stereotypes within the context of the COVID-19 pandemic (comparing a Mexican and Italian restaurant-owner). In addition, this project will consider the impact of perceived foreignness through an assimilation condition.
