Popis: | The coefficients of permeability P and diffusion D , and the solubility of gases σ in membranes prepared from polyvinyltrimethylsilane with transition metal acetylacetonate additives are determined. Whatever the nature of the gas and metal the introduction of coordination-saturated acetylacetonates results in an increase of the σ and P values (due to an increase of the free volume of the glass-like polymer matrix) and a decrease in the value of D . |
