| Popis: | Nine o-biphenyldiazenecarboxylates were obtained in excellent yields by the air oxidation of o-biphenylhydrazinecarboxylates, catalyzed by palladium on charcoal. The miticidal activity of the new compounds was evaluated against Tetranychus urticae. Structure-activity relationships for the screened compounds are discussed. Some of the compounds displayed greater activity than did the commercial miticide propargite. |
