Popis:	A process for conducting membrane plasmapheresis without extracorporeal blood pumps, and without the additional monitoring they require, has been developed and evaluated in vitro and in vivo. This approach, called spontaneous membrane plasmapheresis (SMP), was shown applicable to both therapeutic and donor plasmapheresis and offers major potential simplifications for both techniques.
