Popis: | Indoor pollution has of late risen considerably which leads to several adverse health effects. To combat this gradual rise in indoor pollution, there has been various developments. Accordingly, the present work throws light on the development of a novel sensor with the capacity for precise detection of volatile gas. The sensor comprises of clad modified optical fiber with SnO2:Cuo. With a limit of detection (LOD) of 10 ppm, the current sensor outperforms other sensors already reported in literatures. Ensuring a suitable tweaking with Arduino, the sensor gets laced with the provision of wireless adaptability so that readout can be obtained in remote conditions too. |
