Popis: Presentation of Case A sixty-five-year-old woman entered the hospital because of fatigue. The history was of doubtful reliability. Several weeks before admission she began to experience fatigue, which progressed markedly during the week before entry. A diagnosis of diabetes had been made five years previously, and she had taken 6 tablets of tolbutamide daily but had not tested the urine or followed a diet. For several months she had been taking an oral diuretic agent because of ankle edema. She had had occasional dysuria and a non-productive cough.
