Popis:	A new species of the genus Hessebius Verhoeff, 1941 (Lithobiomorpha: Lithobiidae) is described, discovered in China. Hessebius longispinipes n. sp. was found in Xinjiang Uygur Auton- omous Region. The new species can be distinguished from all other Hessebius by its distinctive back- wards, long terminal thorn of the second section of the female gonopods.
