Popis: Results of the experimental investigation of the electrorheological fluid flow with a free boundary, in particular, drop spreading over a substrate in an electric field are reported. Residual thixotropic effects and a change in the drop shape have been revealed. A dependence of the characteristic parameters of the drop (its height, radius and wetting angle) on an electric field intensity and observation time have been established.
