Popis:	In this paper, the author discusses some of his experiences of the past 20 years as a lecturer in photogrammetry and surveying. Comment is made upon the relationship between training and education but with some greater emphasis on the educational topic, and on the role of the lecturer. The final section discusses those elements of a course in photogrammetry which have a strong educational content.
