Popis:	It is well accepted that within the photosynthetic ATPsynthase CF1CFo the site of ATP synthesis is located in the peripheral CF1, on the beta subunit, whereas the integral CFo is conducting H+ down the ΔμH+ -gradient. According to current theories two energy transforming reactions take place: The electrochemical gradient of H+ brings about a conformational change that in turn enables CF1 to produce ATP against the thermodynamic equilibrium.
