Popis:	Linda Nathan remembers the colleague who helped her through the first days of her new position as a bilingual math teacher at a Boston middle school and then became a close friend. When Nathan was overwhelmed, Carmen Torres, a bilingual science teacher, reassured her and became a model for how to lead her classroom. When Carmen died in April 2022, Nathan shared her story with other teachers and school leaders who have been inspired both to consider who their Carmens have been and to be Carmens for new teachers in their schools.
