Popis: | Varistor-like electrical transport is found in magnetically ordered Nd 2/3 Sr 1/3 MnO 3− δ compounds for δ >0.05. However, because of correlations of characteristic structures with the magnetic behaviour, transport through magnetic grain or phase boundaries is likely to be important. Aside from the sensitivity to external magnetic fields and to the internal magnetic polarisation, the observed phenomena including the phase transition temperatures are sensitive also to electrical fields. This we deduce from a temperature–current ( T – I ) phase diagram which can be collected from the appearance and/or shift of the characteristic transition temperatures at certain applied currents (or potentials). |
