The paper proposes an approach to the choice of professional software products. The approach takes into account the influence of the multilevel organization of a modern computer on the correctness of the results. The approach is based on a preliminary study of a subject area relationships calculated and the estimation of a dimension of the variables numerical values. The implementation of the proposed approach to the selection of software products is demonstrated by the example of programs for a electronic circuits synthesis. The use of the proposed approach in various fields is due to the need to take into account different representations of the numerical values of variables. A different representation is implemented by the translator during the transition of computations to binary code at the level of the processor instruction architecture, which is normal for the operating system, but not obvious to the user. It is proposed to choose a software product that, along with the declared capabilities, excludes the risks of incorrect calculations in terms of relationships in the subject area. For calculating electronic circuits in laboratory classes, the MATLAB package was selected. In MATLAB, the indicated risks of incorrect calculations are maximally excluded. |
