With the use of industrial robots, machines withdigital program control, microprocessor technology and others, man does not participatedirectly in the production process, but assumes the functions of its creator and controller.The robot's intelligence depends mainly on its information, control and communicationsystems.The first generation robots are produced with limited sensory capabilities. They can'tsee, they can't hear, they can't talk. The development of modern industrial robots requires highflexibility and rapid adaptation to the environment. These are second-generation industrialrobots equipped with sensors for sight, hearing and speech. They are similar to human senseorgans and through them industrial robots perceive and react to the environment. A higherlevel of development of industrial robots are the so-called intelligent robots of the thirdgeneration, with artificial intelligence. |
