| Popis: | Contact lens care products on the UK market are safe and effective when used in accordance with the product data sheets and instruction leaflets. Correct adherence to protocols results in a low level of adverse reactions. However patients and practitioners can easily become complacent and abuse care products with potentially disastrous consequences; the recent concern over the incidence of Acanthamoeboid keratitis and contact lens wear is an example. The presentation will consider some currentapproaches to simplification of lens care regimens which should prove beneficial to the task of promoting patient compliance. |
