Popis: | A fibre optic displacement sensor based on tracking the minima in the frequency response of a dual-fibre optical link is described. The sensor is based on multimode fibre technology and uses a LED source, and is insensitive to attenuation changes in the optical paths. The output is in the form of a frequency. Preliminary experimental results are given. |
